Craig Slayen

Craig began his career with Cohen Capital Management (“CCM”), a boutique investment management firm in Larkspur, California, focused on working with the super-affluent ($30M and above).He started at CCM in equity research, analyzing companies for their investment portfolios. Craig conducted bottom-up fundamental financial analysis consisting of combing through annual and quarterly reports, sitting on conferences calls with company management, and attending industry trade shows and Wall Street investment conferences.

Melissa Slayen

After graduating from college, Melissa immediately started working in corporate America and spent 10 years in human resources and recruiting. She worked for Smith Barney, Oracle Corporation,
PriceWaterhouse Coopers, and then for a local now recruiting firm.

In 2001, Melissa joined Craig at Cohen Capital Management and is now coming up on her 10th year in the investment industry. While at CCM she assisted the firm in both client services as well as fixed income trading.

While Craig is in charge of the investment side of Winship Wealth, Melissa runs the operations. She directs all education and marketing efforts and ensures that Winship is providing the highest level of client service to those they work with.

Melissa grew up in San Francisco and the Peninsula and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts from the University of Arizona. Melissa previously sat on the board of the Osher Marin JCC and Congregation Beth Ami in Santa Rosa. Craig and Melissa have three children Justin (6), Hanah Rose (4.5) and Alexa (2) who bring a tremendous amount of purpose and joy to their lives.
